Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs ,count by two.

We made a dinosaur egg for craft, finger painted, watch two dinosaur movie. read some Dinosaur books, dig for dinosaur bones in sand . E.C.T

We have had a great week at daycare. There was alot of tears from Wayland going to school. Here is how are week went -- two days was great and three days tore my heart out .It is so sad . Oh so saddddddd. I know he has to grow up.

I had a good week at daycare. But it sure has been lonely with all
my children gone off to school. I have only one full time child .
We have read alot of books, made craft, sang different songs, made ABC play
dough, play outside .etc
There was alot of tears one day this week, I had a child who didnt want to go to school,so I had to take him. The child had alot of tears and so did Nana.
OOOOHHH so sad .
The next day he was back on the big yellow bus.. Thanks TO GOD.

I would like to thank Tanner for all the toys he gave to Nana and his Daycare,
Thank you so very much. That is better than any $100.00 dollars,
My grand son wrote a letter for school,he told them his Nana had a daycare and he said, that if he had a $100.00 dollars he would give it to his Nana because it take a lot of toys to make the child happy. Toooo cutttttttttttttttte. I love himm.

This week at daycare we are learning about nursery rhymes.
We did the wheel on the bus goes around and around on
the flannel board. We played in the pool,swings, listen to potty tape,
We went to the park and looked for the ducks. The ducks was smart they all
flew away. tooooooooooo hotttttttt.

I close daycare for a day to do a little RR.
This has been a very hard week for the daycare center. I have only
three children enrolled and two goes to grade school. It was very sad to
watch my children take the giant leap to school. I feel very sad and very happy
for them. The first day of school ,i talked to all of my children , The
children all like their teacher and school. What is great all the daycare children
get to see each other every day. That made going to school easier .For sure it help them to adjusted easier, Most of all the children seem to be well adjusted and love school .
Lo,here is a pat on my back. Only makes 3 days into school year.

Just keep looking back and smiling this will turn around.

Learning Step By Step Daycare

The Theme for week is about Birds.

I told my children that Birds and Children are alike .
The birds are born to live high in a trees in a bird nest called home.
Just like children live in home with Mother and Dad. Then the Birds
have to leave their nest. They have learn to find food and learn to fly.
Just like Children they live with mommy and Daddies. The children have go
daycare or school so they can learn ABc and 123 . So they can grow up to be like
Mon and Dad .
I shared with my children they are leaving me
because they are spreading their wings to flying and will learn many
different thing at school.

Here is a finger play we did this week.

Five baby robin watch Daddy Robin soar, hold up (5 finger)
One baby leave the nest ,and now there are four. ( thumb)
Four baby robins, high up in a tree.
One flies to catch a worm. and now there are three (index)
Three baby robin had nothing to do,
One tried his new found wing and then there were two ( middle)
Two baby robin frolicked in the sun.
Another robin chased a bug, and then there was one (ring)
One baby robin, left all alone,
And this baby robin decide to stay home.

We have a picture window which we watched birds all week .
I throwed out cornbread and the birds came too eat .
Tanner also found a bird nest outside our picture window. The child watch the
birds eat,and fly. The children look at the different kinds of birds. We
saw Red. Blue, Black Birds and Robins.

We played hide the feathers this week and the children enjoyed very much.
We aslo played draw a bird by rolling dice, Each no of the dice was giving a bird
body part . For example 1 was the head, 2 was the body ,3 was one leg. Ect. The pictures turn out very good.
Tanner is age 8. . He drew the picture of the bird that is red and orange. To good .

The children are going back to school Tuesday . I sure will miss them .
But when ONE DOOR CLOSES ANOTHER DOOR OPENS. OH SO TRUE.
My courage and determination come from God. Colby will not be coming back because his mother got layed off. I sure will miss his smiling face and the words NANNA and the kisses on my cheek
Just looking back I have had a great summer. The only thing is where did it go.
